Hi, and welcome to my website!

2011 has been another busy and exciting year. My latest novel, Fame, hits bookshops in a few weeks. Set between Hollywood and the idyllic Derbyshire countryside, with some romantic asides in Romania, a country I have come to know well over the past few years through my charity FRODO (www.frodokids.org), it's a story of revenge and redemption based around the movie business and specifically a remake of the Bronte classic Wuthering Heights. I am also working on my next book, set in the cut throat world of the music business, and on a third Sidney Sheldon release, Angel of the Dark, based on Sidney's own original notes for an unfinished novel. The paperback of After the Darkness, my second Sheldon release, comes out in the US this summer, an edge-of-your-seat thriller centred around the 2009 Wall Street meltdown, so it's all go!

For those of you who don't know Sidney Sheldon, he is one of my all time favourite writers, famous for his fast-paced plots, strong heroines and unexpected twists. Right now I am in London, but will be returning to Los Angeles with the family next year, so between writing, moving and running around after my children, life is pretty full. But I do have the best job in the world and I feel extremely lucky. I hope that you keep reading my books and enjoying them as much as I enjoy writing them.
